Tulare County Fair offers a July Jackpot of discount tickets

The temperature may be going up, but the price for carnival rides and admission is going down for the summer months, with the biggest savings for those who buy in July.

For the first time ever, the Tulare County Fair will launch its July Jackpot of Savings promotion, offering $5 admission tickets (regular $9) for those who buy before the month ends. The July Jackpot also features a pair of unlimited ride wristbands for just $40, regular price $70 for two.

“We understand that family entertainment sometimes gets the short straw as families balance their weekly budgets,” said Pamela Fyock, chief executive officer of the Tulare County Fair. “While the cost of living is going up, we strive to find creative ways to make the fair affordable for everyone. By offering deep discounts in the summer months before the fair opens, families can allocate a little of their limited leisure budget each month toward discounted rides and discounted admission.”

New for 2018 is the Wow Express Front-of-the-line Unlimited Ride Wristband, which includes unlimited rides plus front-of-the-line benefits for all carnival rides and is good any one day of the fair. Wow Express wristbands are $50 in advance, available online only. Wow Express wristbands will not be sold during the fair.

The July Jackpot of Savings launches on Tuesday, July 10 and concludes July 31 at

Discount admission will also be offered in August, but the discount admission price goes up to $7 beginning August 1. Unlimited ride wristbands will continue to be discounted in August, at $25 each when purchased online and the Wow Express wristband will be $60.
