Student silent auction, motorsports, livestock auction and music at Tulare County Fair

Grandstand entertainment
Country darling RaeLynn performs tonight, Thursday, Sept. 14, followed by The Ohio Players on Friday and tribute band Queen Nation on Saturday and closing on Sunday with Tower of Power. Concerts are free with gate admission and begin at 8 p.m.

Motorsports series, dedicated to The Diesel Doctor, Jack Mendonca
Friday, Sept. 15, is the Monster Truck Tour. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $8 for children ages 5 to 12. The Demolition Derby takes the grandstands on Saturday, Sept. 16. Tickets are $20.

FFA student silent auction
FFA students from throughout Tulare County will auction their handcrafted projects during the Tulare County Fair beginning at noon on Saturday, Sept. 16, and closing at noon on Sunday, Sept. 17. Smaller silent auction items include garden flowers made from horseshoes, wooden wall décor, a horseshoe wine rack and a horseshoe American flag. Larger items include barbecues, a barbecue stand, a two-tiered horseshoe boot rack and an agriculture bin trailer. Minimum bids range from $60 to $2,500. The silent auction items will be on display in the show ring area of the fairgrounds during the dairy and beef replacement heifer sale and market steers on Saturday, Sept. 16, and during the Junior Livestock Sale on Sunday, Sept. 17.

New entertainment for 2017 Fair
Capt’N Jack Spareribs’, Ramos Brothers Circus complete with a motorcycle daredevil performance, Charlie the Veloci-Raptor, Power House dance and percussion performers and Magician Frank Thurston, to name a few.

Gran Jaripeo-Baile
