Queen Nation, Tower of Power coming to the Tulare County Fair
TULARE –Queen Nation and Tower of Power have been added to the concert line-up for the Tulare County Fair, Sept. 13-17.
Queen Nation will perform on Saturday, Sept. 16, and Tower of Power takes the stage on Sunday, Sept. 17. All Budweiser Stage concerts begin at 8 p.m. and are free with gate admission.
The stated mission of Queen Nation is to carry on the musical torch and pay homage to the golden age of vintage Queen concerts. Queen Nation was recognized as The World’s Greatest Queen Tribute by Ryan Seacrest and Mark Cuban and their network AXS TV. The band was recently selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to perform on the infield of Angel Stadium as part of their Flashback Weekend.
The final day of the Tulare County Fair, Sunday, Sept. 17, will feature the signature horn-driven “urban soul music” of Tower of Power, which continues to play to sold-out crowds across the U.S., as well as Japan and Europe.
Previously announced is The Ohio Players, performing on Friday, Sept. 15.
The Tulare County Fair offers a week of entertainment for the family, free with gate admission, including jugglers and drummers, educational activities for children, live local entertainment, an exotic animal display and petting zoo, motor sports, the new High School Madness school spirit competition and more.
New this year is the Ramos Brothers Circus, a traditional big-top circus offering fun for the whole family, along with a ventriloquist, Capt’n Jack Spareribs and Charlie the Veloci-Raptor Dinosaur. Returning favorites include Cooks Racing Pigs, Mind Works and the Gold Rush Mining & Refining Co.
Carnival wristbands sell for $20 each prior to Sept. 12, and $30 during Fair week. A FastPass upgrade is available for $15, allowing wristband-holders to go to the front of the line for all carnival rides.
