Local entertainers invited to perform at Tulare County Fair
TULARE – The Tulare County Fair seeks “the best of the best” to perform during the Tulare County Fair, Sept. 14-18.
The application form is available on the home page of the fair’s web site, www.tcfair.org. Applications are due by Aug. 5.
Acts must be appropriate for fair-goers of all ages. In addition to submitting the form, prospective entertainers are encouraged to provide samples of performances, letters of recommendation and promotional kits.
“We are pleased to give amateur entertainers the opportunity to perform at the fair – this is their opportunity to shine,” noted Pamela Fyock, CEO of the Tulare County Fair. “We would like to have acts from all over the area showcase their talent here – anything from belly dancers to singers to dance troupes. We encourage entertainers to take advantage of our venue and show off their special talents.”
Entertainers will be able to perform for crowds at both community stages. The Budweiser Stage is reserved for national headliner performers. Headliner concerts announced to date are Gin Blossoms on opening night; WAR on Thursday, Sept. 15; Colt Ford on Friday, Sept. 16; and En Vogue on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The Tulare County Fair will run Sept. 14-18, offering a week of entertainment for the family, educational activities for children, the annual Junior Livestock Auction, Fair food, fun rides and more. Fairgoers this year can enjoy a shuttle from the K Street parking lot, sponsored by Tachi Palace.
